To become a commercial pilot, you have to acquire your commercial pilot's licence. This is issued to candidates who have successfully completed the pilot training course at a reputed flying school and also have a minimum of 250 hours of flying time.

However, the specific requirements to become a commercial pilot can be found in the relevant part of the relevant section of the code of federal regulations for commercial pilots. These have been laid down by the department of the government (of the country in which you live) which is concerned with civil aviation.

The general guidelines to become a commercial pilot are concerned with the enrolment in a flying school, the completion of the course, the results of the interview and, most importantly, whether the eyesight of the aspiring pilot is perfect or not.
