Is It Normal For The Bottom Of And Cord On Laptop To Get Hot?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

All computers generate heat which is why most of them have built in fans (incluing laptops). That said, the machines and cables (especially the rectifier boxes on laptop cords) ) do still get quite hot.

I actually bought a rest for my laptop with built in fans (powered via a USB socket) to help reduce the temperature further.

If that's too hard to understand (no offense) basically it is normal for that to happen don't worry about it too much if its way too hot you might want to turn off your laptop for a while
