If it was 20 years ago, you either receive physical share certificates or have an account with a brokerage firm. Look for the names of the companies you invested in and checkout their ticker symbols online on yahoo.com or even the company websites.
I am excited to know which stocks they were. Hopefully they were some stable companies that are now 100 to 500 times worth their value 20 years ago! Good Luck! And let me know!
