Hinds Feet In High Places is an allegory of how to have faith in God in the troubled times of your life. It helped me through a very rough patch in my life. Pilgrims Progress, and the Bible. Peace

2 books.....A long time ago I used to read Romance novels.....you couldn't keep my head out of them.....I don't remember any titles, and I only remember one of the characters....her name was Gillyflower, (she was "less than all there" but a beautiful child) and the heroine of the story befriended her as a governess to the eventual outcome where the heroine became the "Mistress" of the household.  Though not totally equipped the heroine accepted opportunities and allowed herself to do things out of her "comfort zone".  I remember that story and try to apply the same kindnesses to everyone in my life, and watch for opportunities even if they are out of my comfort zone.  I have come to understand the quote:  "God does not call the prepared, He prepares those he calls".  2. The Bible is an ongoing lesson learning, light bulb going off source for me.....can't tell you how many times during some kind of reading, Sunday School, Bible Study, etc that a life lesson was established in my little brain from it.

I can't really pick a few...I have about 900 books in my personal library. But I love Julie Garwood's medieval series. They are all set in Scotland and England between 1100-1500ad. Her descriptions of the scenery are so vivid that you can almost see it, and her characters are so enjoyable. J.G. Also has a Regency series featuring several members and several generations of the same family... Its fun to follow them through the years. I also Love anything by Dean Koontz.... Because he can scare the bejeevers outta me....LOL!! My favorite Koontz books are the Odd Thomas series, and the Fear Nothing series.
Foold yall... Betcha thought I was gonna say my Text books!!!LOL.......NOOOO WAYYY!!!! ~~Giggles~~

I always enjoyed Patricia Cornwells's Kay Sarpetta series.  I read the "Body Farm" first, then went back and read them in order.  I got several other people hooked on her books.  Very graphic descriptions, about what goes on in a medical examiners office, but also very well researched.  I liked some of the early Oprah's book club books, also.  One of my favorites was "She's Come Undone".  Many of the books were very depressing, like "Vinegar Hill", but interesting, nonetheless.

I would say the Princess Diaries series. I love teen fiction. The Princess Diaries series are certainly one of the best teen fiction books. There wasn't a particular event that made me remember it so clearly, it was the whole series! Also, Harry Potter series.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a back that I will remember to the end because it was so good and exciting. I also loved the book A Dog's Life by Ann M. Martin. It was so interesting the point of view from a dog. Well at least that is what it is suppose to be like!

I have to say, the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe was a book I read in elementary and I still find the story an epic journey. I also read the three musketeers in my days of adolescents and that too will be a piece of literature that shall remain in my memories as well.

Lets see some of mine would have to be the books by V.c andrews flowers in the Attic and the others! They all follow a family as the mother and her three children have to go and live with her mother and then the grandmother locks the children in the attic and that's where they live for yrs and yrs! Well If you have not read them I suggest any one to I love them! I read everyone of them and I could read them again! Another is the book called a child called it! And it also has some more to follow! I love these books and they make me cry but that shows how well written they are! And of course chicken soup for the soul books! Some of the stories has helped me get through some rough times and understand I was not the only one out there who has ever felt the way I was. I think life lessons are best thought through books and stories that have a life lesson to be tought and can teach in many ways and taken in different interpretations!

Well, Eragon. There was a scene at the end where a dragon burst through a crystal star, and the main character stabbed the antagonist through the heart.

Another would be Battle of the Labyrinth. There was this one part where the son of Hades took a sword and sliced a fissure into the ground. Then a bunch of ghosts flew out of it and dragged the Ghost King into the Underworld.

            How about the UNDERGROUND LAWYER,
I forget the name of the book but it talks about the 16th amendment that it was never ratified so legally it is not a law

One book series that still stays in my memory is called; "The Mitford Series" written by Jan Karon.  Here is a little bit about the series:  Come away to Mitford, the small town that takes care of its own. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Mitford is a crazy quilt of saints and sinners --- lovable eccentrics all. Seen through the eyes of Father Tim, the long-suffering Village Rector, Mitford abounds in both mysteries and miracles, compelling readers to return again and again to this beloved series. ..... If you ever get a chance to read one book or the whole series, you will get captured into all of these character's lives and they will make you laugh and cry...

Honestly speaking, I don' t know. Maybe so far I haven't read such a book like what you said. But there is one thing I like much more. It is the super martial artist and actor, Bruce Lee. He gives me lots of enlightenment, not just about Kungfu but also his philosophy. He is my idol. Jackie Chan, too.
              thank you!
              have fun!
