    I'm An Indian National Living In US As A Permanent Resident Since 2004 On IR1 Visa. I Need To Travel To Austria To Attend A Conference. Do I Need To Apply For Schengen Visa?

    I have an Indian passport but I live in USA since 2004 as a permanent resident on a IR1 visa.I'm married to a US national. I need to travel to Austria to attend a conference. Do I need to apply for a Schengen visa?

    Yes you need to apply for Schengen Visa. As soon as you would become US citizen, you can then enter to Austria without a visa. For more information visit this link.
