Why Does The Mirror Cloud Up?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    Hey there.
The mirror "clouds up" because of it's reflective nature. In fact in any room with higher heat and moisture in the air such as a bathroom after a shower all surfaces have a layer of moisture on them --- the mirror is the one surface that reflects that moisture.
The other thing about mirrors and why the cloud up is that glass has a lot of pores in it which act like pockets to moisture.
    I hope that helps.
