    How Many Miles From MI To NC And Is There Anything To Stop And See (tourist) On The Way? Coming Back From NC Can I Drive To Washington And Then To MI To See What Before MI?

    I'm just wanting to know if it is feasible to drive from MI to NC - seeing any BIG sites along the way - and what the mileage is AND if I came back going to NY and then Washington would I be able to take another route back and see some different sites along the way that way ... And what would all that secondary mileage be? Trust me, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks, one and all :-)

    It would have been very useful if you had also mentioned where exactly you live in MI and where do you wish to go in NC. I have assumed that you will start from Ann Arbor and want to go to Charlotte. This drive will be 10hours and 18 minutes long and you will cover 617 miles. On your way, you will cross Ohio and West Virginia. The tourist attractions in these places are:
    Ohio: location/oh
    West Virginia: location/wv

    On your way back, if you go to Washington, you will cross Virginia and District of Columbia. The tourist attractions here are:
    Virginia: location/va
    DOC: location/dc
    Washington DC: www.tours4fun.com
    Then you will cross Maryland and Pennsylvania:
    Maryland: location/md
    Pennsylvania: location/pa
    The return trip will then be approx. 15 hours long and of 923 miles.
