This Question Is Answered:
Is It Common For Landlords Or Reality Companies To Ask For A Credit Check From Both Spouses?
My husband and I would like to rent in an apartment complex, he has good credit and I have bad credit. Is it common for the reality agency or landlord to require a credit check for both spouses if so, will one spouses credit deter the agency from renting to us?

It is common, but if the spouse with bad credit has had the same job for a while, it shouldn't be a problem unless the landlord has another tenant with better credit lined up behind you. You might be asked for a larger deposit, though.
