I'm Going To Be Throwing A Children's Birthday Party - Can I Use Aromatherapy To Help Make It A Great Party For The Kids "¦ And For Me?

Answer Question

Kids' parties can be a difficult balance – yes, you want them all to enjoy themselves as much as they can …

… but you don't want them going totally over the top and leaving you with a wrecked house to clean up afterwards at going-home time, do you?

Unfortunately, sometimes, the two go hand-in-hand, but here's an essential oil recipe that'll keep the youngsters happy throughout the party – and you sane both then and afterwards.

5 drops Orange, for promoting happy communication
3 drops Lavender to prevent the kids from going completely wild

Add these to the water in your vaporizer before your guests arrive, and light the candle beneath.

As the water warms up, the vapours from the essential oils disperse into the air around you to work their magic.

Always remember, though, to keep your vaporizer up and out of harm's way when there's youngsters running around the house

Just make sure you don't have any children that may have a problem with strong fragrances.
Besides if you get a bunch of kids together with soda, cake, candy and a few toys, they won't need any help to have a good time. they do that naturally.
