The Federal Bureau of Investigations that operates in the United States recently visited Pakistan for an investigation mission regarding the bank scam issue that recently took place in the United States and involved a Pakistani banker Hafiz Nasim. Hafiz Nasim, who worked for the Credit Suisse Bank and was alleged of insider trading, imparted some significant information that revealed a link between some Pakistani officials and the bank scam issue that took place in the United States.
The main purpose of the FBI team is to delve deeper into the bank scam and explore the nature of any probable involvement of Pakistani officials that include bankers, stockbrokers, government officials and even politicians. At the moment the FBI is refusing to give any statements or issue any remarks regarding the investigations and inquiry, stating that any kind of comment or statement could have a potential tendency to damage the ongoing case.
