Can I Give My Dog Anything For Pain?

Answer Question

Yes you can, if vet not available, tilt dogs head up, place aspirin in mouth and with free hand, rub his throat and it will go down.  Trying to hide it in food won't work and crushing it into food, he won't eat.  If just stuffing in reg food, he will eat around it, unless maybe coat aspirin with soft dog food and feed as treat, but the best method is the one above, or so I hear

That is partially correct - use a baby aspirin, not an adult dose. Also, if it is a small dog, use only a crumb (1/4 or so) of the baby aspirin. Be careful!
