    Sometimes dreams can represent real life, in your mother's case, it sounds like she invested a lot in base fundamentals, and was trying to build a good foundation for your brother.(i.e. morals, and values) When he ran away, all of her "construction" suddenly ended. I hope he came back home. But I hope the "building" is going a little slower now. Good luck.
