Swoolen glands are usually an indication of fighting off some type of infection whether viral or something as simple as allergies. That is why a doctor will check the glands in you neck to see if you are fighting something of. When I had cancer, after the surgery, my oncologist was checking my neck and found a lump. Thank goodness it was only my system fighting off allergies in the spring. Cleared up with nasal spray and benadryl
