Will A Female Dog Reject A Spayed Male?
My Female is in heat and my friends male is spayed. I was told that a female in heat will reject a spayed male and cannot lock-up

First off - no male dog gets spayed. Males get castrated. If he still retains the instinct to mount the female, she will either reject or accept him like she would any other male. Of course - if they mate, there will be no pups as he is sterile. Some dog breeders keep castrated dogs with b*tches who are in season, but from whom they do not want pups (this time), as it keeps the female content.
