Why Is My Cat Losing The Fur On Her Leg?
My adult female cat has started losing fur on one leg. She is an in-door cat. She is eating normally and kidneys are functioning normally. There are no other animals in the house and the environment has not changed. So why has she started losing the fur on one leg?

Hair loss or alopecia in cats can be seen due to many reasons. Starting from neurological/behavioral problems, allergies, parasites, to infectious etiologies. Such cases need investigation by pet dermatologists. Your vet. Will ask detailed history questions and will perform thorough examination to rule out various causes. Skin problems can arise due to systemic problems or local reasons affecting skin and hair only. Therefore it would be better if you visit your vet and be prepare to give him detailed history precisely. I hope it will help. See you soon
