Pro Rata is better known as Theatre Pro Rata, which is a small professional theatre company. It is situated in the twin cities. The word pro rata is derived from a Latin word, which means "In Proportion." The company portrays as well as projects itself as a "text-based, actor-centred" company. This theatre was started by Joseph Papke and Carin Bratlie. With the help of its success it has currently taken up its residence at St. Paul's Loading Dock Theatre, where it also comprises of theatre company Gremlin Theatre.
