Can You Make A Sentence For Domesticate?

Answer Question

3 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

To domesticate means to train (as animal, for example) to live in a human environment.  It can also mean to introduce and accustom someone to living in a home, or among civilized humans.  If you had captured a wild horse, and trained him to let you ride him, do tricks, and rely on you, you could form a sentence like this:
I captured the wild horse from the herd, and brought it home to domesticate it and live on my farm with the other animals.

    Hope that helped!

We would have to domesticate the horse bought yesterday before we send him for training to perform in the circus
