Poem For Valentine's Day?

Writing a poem for someone who uniquely touches you and is connected to you is obviously more personal than any poem already written or authored by any of us here.

Good for you in your idea. When writng your poem, I suggest you steer clear of big sweeping cliches and rather integrate the personal feelings you share so exlcusively.  What moves you and draws you to him?  What is uniquely his to give you?  What does this guy do (for your life and heart) that no one else has or could?

The words will no doubt need to be your own, but I have to say I have always been struck by this touching account... (my parents recited it to each other after 45 years of marriage):

This is a cute love story. A guy had a cancer and only a month 2 live. He liked a girl very much,who is working in a CD shop , but he never told her about her love. Everyday he used to go to the CD shop and buy a cd to talk to that girl, After a month he died, When the girl went to the boy house to ask about him, his mother uttered that he's is died and took her to his bedroom;where she saw all her cd, which were unopened and the girl cried. YOU KNOW WHY??

She had kept chit and love letters in all the cd's. To let him know how much she loves him.....

Call cuckoos to sing for him...
