If it is your bank account, try calling the bank and explaining your situation if you are out of state. However if you are in the state or if the bank is a nationwide bank, you can stop into any of these banks and as long as you show ID (i.e. State issued ID card, State issued Driver's License, or U.S. Passport), they will be able to answer your questions with no problem. I hope this helps! :)

Contact the bank if they will ask you for your social security number and other information. If you answer correctly they will update your account information. If your are receiving a 1099-Interest every year this would be a good indicator. If you are the account holder and not receiving this information then the bank does not have your current address to send your monthly and year-end statements to you.
