Which Sentence Is Right?

A. I know you have it just give it to me. B. "I know you have it," just give it to me. C. I know you have it, just give it to me. D. I know you have it. Just give it to me.

    C or D is more correct than A or B. I probably prefer C because I don't like the "just" at the start of the sentence in D. I cannot find a definition of "just" that seems to fit the usage here, other than as an adverb having the colloquial meaning "nevertheless."

    The comma splice in sentence C is not approved by many.

      None.  The two clauses should be separated by a semi-colon.

      Agreed, but the correct answer is not always an option on a multiple choice test.
