How Do You Write A Will?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

In order to write a will you will first need to be a little free with your partner or spouse, or family members or whosoever is concerned. You will need to get a living will from the state. You can get this form from any kind of state health department or even any kind of local sanatorium, doctor, or the local quarter agency on ageing.

Some of the other options that you can hold are downloading a form from the internet or you can work with the help of a lawyer. Your next step is to sign the will in witness according to the states law. Incase your sign is not up to the mark then the will be considered invalid.

In UK your can write your own Will.  Give your full name address and occupation.  State that you cancel all prior wills and testaments.  Appoint and executor.  Write what you want to happen with your estate (If you have no previous legal experience then it is best to get help).  Sign and date the will in front of two witnesses who must be present at the same time together when you sign.  They must both be over 18 and not entitled to anything in the will.

If your estate is complicated then you should get advice from an accountant and a solicitor to try to make sure the maximum amount goes to the people you want to get your estate and not the tax man.
