You dont, and you cant control the situation. All you can do is take a chance on the situation if you really like the guy.. Trust is huge but i guarantee that most guys youll date will have a first love. Just fallow what your heart says cause it usually knows ,more then you do...

I was in the same situation adn you never really know .if you and this guy are in love and its real and true and when he tells you that he wont leave you at least try to believe him. And always remind him wat he has now is so much better then what he had.
Yes, you don't know that but don't ruin the relationship by stressing and obsessing on it and being overly jealous. You'll be cutting of your nose to spite your face. My first love is one of my best friends and vice versa. My husband does not care and if he did there would be huge problems because it wouldn't be fair for him to try and make me choose between him and one of my best friends. He has no reason to. He's friends with his. She's not a threat to my relationship. You grow up, you change, you move on with your life and usually end up VERY thankful you did not stay together :-). Do you have one? How do you feel about him?

Make him stay.. Actually love is crazy.. You can't really stop something if it is about to happen.. If you are really for each other then you are.. No matter one.. To have a successful relationship, you trust, be faithful, have a give and take relationship, and just love him the way you know.. Listen to what he says.. If things still wont work.. Then you are really not for each other.. The right man will come.. Just trust..
