I'm doing a report and i need this answer to finish it.
Answers
France and United Kingdom were allies of the United States during the world war 2 because they feared the power of Germany. In 1933 Adolf Hitler became the leader of Germany. He wanted to start a massive campaign to capture all Europe. This made UK and France very worried and they made alliance with US for their security.

You really need to study your history more. England, France, Russia and other allies had already been fighting a war with Germany, Japan and their allies for almost two years before America became involved. Up to that point the USA had remained neutral, when Japan launched an attack on Pearl Harbour on 7th December 1941, the USA joined the Allies, who were already engaged in fighting the Japanese in the Far East.
