How Will I Know If My 7 Months Old Female Hamster Is Pregnant? And If She Is, What Do I Do?

Gestation (pregnancy) in the most common types of hamster lasts 15-18 days but may be as long as 21 days.  You may note your hamster's abdomen growing and appear distended at the end of gestation.  Many times hamster owners don't know they are pregnant and one day there are babies.  If you know when she may have been bred you could have your veterinarian take an x-ray at day 13-14 to see if there are babies or if uterine dilation is noticed.
I recommend finding a veterinarian who sees small mammals in your area and discussing hamster breeding as well as care of neonatal hamsters.  All expectant mothers should be on a high quality diet as nutrition is very important during pregnancy and for health growth of the babies.
If you do not want babies separate I would keep those boys and girls separate.
