You are probably filing with too many exemptions. For example, if you make $1000 gross every two weeks but file married and 4, there is no federal withholding deducted from that because of they way that the person is filing. You need to check your pay stub to see how you are filing. If you need to change it, fill out a new W-4 and give it to your employer.
