Is It Possible To Obtain A Canadian Visa From Jamaica If You Have A Criminal Record?
I have a friend in Jamaica that would love to visit Canada, however he has been in trouble with the law in the past, as little as 1 month ago. Now asking the questions, is it worth his while to apply for a Canadian visa, knowing that the possibility of rejection would be far more greater? Or should he wait to apply and if so, how long should he wait?

The possibility of a getting a visa on criminal record is always very low. There is no fix time to wait and apply for the visa. Only bear in mind that you have to ensure in your application your innocence or your character after the incidence occurred. Your good character in the last 2 to 3 years can earn good points for you to apply for a Canadian Visa. Good Luck.
