    My Dog Has A Small Puncture Wound On His Foot, I Cleaned And Put Neosporin On It And Some Liquid Bandage And Wrapped It Up. Will It Heal On Its Own Now?

    My dog has a puncture wound on his pawl. I cleaned myself and put neosporin ointment on it and alcohol and wrapped it up. Will it heal?

    You did the right thing there, except I would not have used the alcohol. This can cause more pain, and will make the dog want to lick at it, which they do to clean it themselves. Keep a bandage on it, and check it daily. Change the bandage daily as well. Hope this helps.

      It should heal on it own providing that the dog dose not tear it open again walking on it or something . I would just make sure to keep it clean and dressed with wrappings to help avoid that, and if it dose not heal soon call the vet.
