    Omega 3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids which are very much needed by our body.
    Unfortunately, our body can not produce this so, we get omega 3 fatty acids from food resources like fish, some plants and vegetables like flaxseed, pumpkin seed, and walnuts. Omega 3 fatty acids have very strong evidences in treating heart diseases but can also be used in some other indication including depression. It is said that peoples who do not eat omega 3 fatty acids in their diet are on great risk getting depression.

    Relation to Depression
    : These are important part of nerve cells membranes. Some clinical studies show that peoples who eat omega 3 fatty acids have less chances of depression. Some studies also support its use in reducing mood swings in peoples with bipolar. Some studies prove no results with omega 3 fatty acids in depression and bipolar.
