How Can I Convert A .vob To A .wmv?

Answer Question

Converting a .vob to a .wmv file can be quite a challenge if you don't know how. There are many programs that supposedly can help like for instance Windows Media Encoder, Digital Media Converter, Avex Video Converter and so on, but none of them actually convert the files in a satisfactory manner.

Instead try the following: Download free software called Chopper XP. You will have to go to www.inchwest.com/digital-miner.co for the same. It is completely free and there are no hidden costs. Next you must load all your .vob files into the freeware and the software will take care of the rest.
A .vob file is basically a container format which is contained in a DVD Video media. It includes the Video, Audio, Menu and Subtitle. These particular files are generally encoded in a very similar manner to the standard MPEG-2 files. In fact if the extension is changed from .vob to .mpeg or .mpg the file will still be readable and will actually continue to hold all the data.
