How Do You Treat A Horse Fly Bite?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Best way is to place an ice cube directly on the bite wrapped in a wet hankie or similar and massage in a antihistamine cream using the ice to apply it. The antihistamine treats the bite and the ice reduces the swelling incredibly quickly. My daughter had a bee sting directly under her lower eyelid and in 15 minutes there was no sign of the sting and no pain using this method. You can use it on horses and other animals to as long as they will stand still! WE have now used this system for every type of sting and bite here in Spain and it works 100% of the time. Just act quickly!
