What Does My Dog Chew Her Rectum To Bleeding?
She often chews at her butt until it bleeds. She won't let me touch it to see if there is anything there to irritate her.

I'm really not sure why she is doing that but i know there is a anal sac back there that has to be cleaned that's why u see dogs rubbing their butts on the ground my suggestion to u is to take her to the vet there may be something bad wrong good luck hope everything works out.

Our puppy does this to although not as extreme. It could be swollen anal glands, the vet can squeeze them for u to relieve the pain the dog is in. Unfortunately ours is an ongoing problem at the moment, every month! Hope this helps
