What Is A Personal Injury?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A personal injury is a type of an injury that a person suffers either from a psychological or physical accident. The most common type of a personal injury that takes place is due to the road traffic accidents, highway tripping accidents, accidents at work, accidents at home, assault claims, and holiday accidents.

At the time of a road accident where the accident was the fault of some one else, the injured party is fully entitled to the monetary compensation from the person who caused the injury or accident due to his negligible and reckless driving. In the United States of America this system is known as the tort reform, however some critics call this system as controversial system. However in England and Wales a court proceeding takes place, and the time is for 3 months, if the claimant doesn't get the claim in three years then the case is void.
