Your house plumbing drainage system is constructed on either PVC or ABS plastic piping. Plastic piping has two major problems: 1 it is noisy and 2 it expands and contracts readily
You can avoid this problem by using cast iron plumbing pipes, as they are quiet, stable and long lasting.

New cast iron pipes are caste using a centrifugal spinning process it is first checked to assure there are no leaks. Cast iron pipes are used with rubber and stainless steel clamps and they can be installed faster than the plastic piping.

Cast iron plumbing is quiet because of the rubber used between the sections of pipes. The rubber absorbs the sound vibrations. The sound you hear is due to the bouncing of water against the plastic piping

Cast piping is inexpensive it costs only 150$ per bathroom. It is also safe for the environment as they can be recycled plastic piping is not easily recycled. Plastic piping, on the other hand, can not make these claims. The solvents, which are used to weld the pipes together, are highly toxic. They produce fumes, which dissipate into the atmosphere. In order to avoid becoming sick while using these solvents, adequate ventilation becomes a necessity.
