    I Failed My Maths And English Exams ... How Do I Tell My Perfectionist Parents?

    I failed my maths and English exams and I don't know how to tell my perfectionist parents? It's going to come out on my report but is this the best way to tell them? I'm really worried about what they'll say ... Please help.

    I would think that you might just tell them that you tried your very best, and that you studied, (I trust that you did), but it still didn't help in understanding what you were doing in the testing.
    I have to say that your honesty is commendable! But, if you did study, and had a hard time remembering, then maybe they will understand that you are struggling here, and some assistance on their part might help you out a lot. Hope this helps, good luck.

      It's not a good idea to wait for them to ses your report card.  I understand your dilemma.  My folks were also perfectionists, and I failed my geometry regents.  I know it's going to be difficult, but the best thing you can do is tell them what happened.  Being secretive could only complicate matters.  You have to let them know you're having trouble in these subjects.  Ask them for help.

      If i failed in math and English exam I will try to tell my parents with hope that they can understand me I'll say them that I try to pass with my knowledge but sometimes the thing goes wrong and can't pass exams I will promise them that I'll try to learn more in this two subject.If they can't understand me they can damned to improve me to learn much more subjects which I failed.
