I Am A Stay Home Mom,by Law, Do You Have To Be Licensed To Watch About 2 Children Like A Daycare?

Answer Question

Depending on what country you live in I highly doubt it.

That'd be like saying a mother or father needs a license to care for their say 3-5 children that range from 2-6 years old as a stay at home parent.

There probably is some law somewhere hidden, buried deep down covered in dust but I really don't think you've got anything to worry about. As long as your providing a safe nurturing environment that encourages learning... I reckon you'll be fine.

On a darker note, if the other child is not your own and they injure themselves.. You COULD be deemed liable.. Chances of it happen are somewhat unlikely, but in this day and age where someone can sue just because you blinked in their direction.. It's something worth considering.. But don't loose sleep over it.
