How Do I Watch Movies That I Downloaded From My Computer?

How do you watch them where? On the computer? Download the Combined Community Codec Pack, install it, and enjoy.

On your TV? There are many different ways to do this, most require some effort on your part:

1. Buy a DVD Player that reads and plays DivX videos. There are many of them that are quite affordable, and will play most video files that end in .avi, and some others depending on the built-in codecs... Then burn the files to DVD and play them.
   
2. Download DVD image files (these are usually 'ripped' directly from the DVD), then use a program like Nero or MagicISO to burn these images (often in .iso file format) to a blank DVD and they should play just like a factory disk.
3. Download, install, and learn to use a program like ConvertXtoDVD, reformat the files (including building your own menu system, it walks you through the process) to DVD, burn the resultant image to a DVD, and away you go...
