My Ice Maker Arm Stops With Ice Stuck On The Arm. How Can I Determine What The Specific Part Is To Be Repaired?

My ice maker was working without issue and the fridge is only 5 years old. The arm that delivers the ice will rotate around during the ice making process, but stops when the ice is on the arm and does not deliver it into the bin. How can I determine if the arm needs to be replaced, a thermostat, or solanoid?

It sounds like the ice cube heater its self or the timer that turns the heater on to cause the ice to drop. I'm sorry I couldn't be more specific but it has to be one of the two.
