I had surgery on my throat in 2001. I did not know I had staples until I went to a Chiropractic and he did a x-ray. Can these staples hurt you ... I feel like I have a allergic problem going on.

Staples or stitches in throat surgery are used. Few years back these staples are made of medicated threads. Now they are made up of special material which is dissolve automatically after healing. So staples left in throat surgery will not cause problem. If your doctor has used old staples of thread then this cause problems. Go for further investigations.
