The most famous song by the Irish Rock band, The Cranberries was the hit song Zombie. The song meant that because of war people are losing their beloved ones with no fault of their own. There is violence everywhere and the silence which follows the violence is deafening because of all the lives and property it damaged. People have just been killed over hundreds of years because of conflicts. The man has become a zombie as he cannot see and feel anything. His existence is the only thing that matters. The song topped the German and Australian charts in 1994. The song was covered by Dilana Robichaux on Rockster: Supernova. The band won the MTV Europe Music Award for this song in 1995.
