A car that has got a deep scratch has to have the body of the affected area worked upon. This can cost a fair share of money. A simple scratch may some times appear to be deep and can easily be removed by rubbing some car polish over the affected area.
Where, however, a deep scar is involved, the paint of the affected area has to be removed using a sandpaper. It should be removed till one reaches an even finish on the body of the car. Then a coat of primer is applied.
This is generally white in colour and helps in giving the vehicle a proper finish. A coat of paint similar to the one used on the vehicle is spray painted over the affected area with a back and forth movement of the wrist. Polish is used to give the paint a nice shiny finish.
