What Does It Mean When You Show Foam Cells From Discharge From Breast?
I had green discharge from left breast with severe swelling x 1 week. Dr put it on a slide. Results stated foam cells.

There are two possibilities of green discharge from the breast.
After the biopsy things will be clear. In majority of the cases these secretions are not due to cancer.
- Fibrocystic breast
- Mammary duct ectasia which is inflammation of the mammary duct not due to bacteria or underlying cancer. But it needs biopsy.
