It is very good and informative question for most of the internet users. Work from home jobs are very convenient for the users who can't go outside for jobs, either they have some disability problem or some restriction from home.

You can search for the work at home jobs on the internet search engines, with the key word freelancers jobs or work at home jobs. Or you can register your self on any job site, like yahoo.jobs.com or any other best job site in your area and country. And then via there search engine search for the online jobs with the key work "work at home jobs", you will get results of many companies who want freelancer. So just apply for that job online and communicate with them online.

Just your payment will be reached to you at your home.
You can get the online jobs of any type either its related to content writing. Some graphics designing, web designing, and forum posting consultancy or any type of jobs of your interest. There is not any restriction for you. It is a very good and convenient way for earning money at home.
      Best of luck

Most "work from home" positions that you'll find on the internet are scams. You should try to get a disability check from the government instead, but I don't know how you go about doing that.

I received a very good retirement package from employer but I still wanted to "work" after a few weeks into my retirement.  I surfed the internet for days and checked out several work at home prospects.  The one site that I found to be very easy to work with is oDesk.com -  I've been working off this site for approximately 10 months and never had any downtime to say the least.  I'm not saying this is the site for you but it couldn't hurt to check it out.
