Just be yourself, remain calm and relaxed.  Don't try to overdo pleasing the mother, just show her that you respect her and her daughter, and that you'd like to be friends with the mother.  Tell her you're glad to meet her, and that you and her daughter have nice times when you're together.  If you just relax and let her mom see that you don't mean her daughter any harm, and that you enjoy her daughter's company and respect her, you'll do fine.  Don't say anything smart-alecky, or rude, or anything that would seem offensive to the daughter.  As long as you act respectful and pleasant, the mother will eventually come to trust you, and you'll both get along well.

(Sorry - pushed the wrong button... I was inserting a whole new paragraph in the middle of a statement, so what you got was gobbledygook.)
Here's the thing:
1. Before being introduced to the family, you should know the girl long enough to really feel relaxed and confident in yourself, her, and your relationship.  Your passion will not impress mom favorably.  It might scare her, in fact.
2.  To the Chinese, any relationship between a man and a woman must inevitably lead to marriage.  Anything else is unthinkable.  Yet marriage to a non-Chinese amounts to a taboo.  This is what you have to overcome.  

There is no way you can feel relaxed and comfortable enough to do this if you've only known one another for a couple of months.
