How Do You Tell The Sex Of A Small Vole, Or Field Mouse?
I have 2 as pets and i would like them to breed. If anyone knows any information on this, please let me know. Also, a regular mouse may be the same as far as breeding, so if you know anything about that then it would be helpful as well. Thanks

To determine the sex in mice examine the distance between the rectum and the urogenital opening--it will be shorter in females. It can be hard to sex very young males. A breeder, pet store employee, or veterinarian should be able to help you. Also by age 6-8 weeks of age the testicles should be visible in most males. Keeping males together should be avoided.
