How Do I Fix The Blower In My Car?
2000 Cadillac Escalate, 112, 000 ml. I am having problem with my heater. Recently the fan stopped working. It is not blowing out any air by the front vents. Can you tell me what went wrong with the fan? Is there an easy way to fix it?

First, check the fuse. If the fuse is good then it could be your blower switch that you turn it on with. If the blower was working fine and then 1 day it did not, it is more likely the switch. Bring it to a mechanic if you do not have the means to check it yourself.

Another situation is that we all most of the time, use the blower in less than the maximum speed... the speed is controlled by a resistor box... usually there is no resistor for the maximum, so check if it works when you turn it on on max.
If so, then, you a bad resistor box.
If all dead, could be, of course, the fuse, the switch as pointed before or you are just outta luck and the fan motor gave way.

If the blower is blowing air out the defroster and will not change you have a broken vacuum line some where or a bad vac. Tank or check valve.
