Also, you can look at your library and local or online bookstore for sources. Even if a library does not have an up-to-date listing of scholarships, the librarian may be able to obtain a copy of a more current book from another library. Also, many established scholarships are offered every year, so even if a listing appears a few years old, it is worth checking.

Another option is to check with the university or study programme you are interested in. Learning institutions often offer their own scholarships.

Here are some websites which offer free scholarships for college. All that's required is registration, similar to other scholarships though these don't require essays, and are conducted like contests.
