England’s Victorian society was divided into different social classes based on the characteristics like royalty, wealth, religious and social position and military positions. The people who were considered rich were those who possessed an influential and good family background along with a good social position which mostly used to be in the form of titles and ranks. The rich people were the ones that administered the matters of their estates, were held in respect in the court and attended social gatherings and festivities which were a part of the elite society.
