Breast feeding time is known as the lactation period. It is time after the birth of the baby and the time when the mother's body produces milk for infants. The milk produced during this period has all the proteins and vitamins required for the baby. It is the staple and only diet for a long time until the baby is gradually introduced to other foodstuffs.
But generally it does not have much difference on the menstruation in women though it said that the bleeding in women might be more after delivery for some time. But other wise the duration remains the same except in some peculiar cases. But if there is any such difference then it is advisable to contact the doctor and seek medical advice about its occurrence and the ways to cure it.
