Since Its Inception, How Many Teams Have Played In All Fourteen Seasons Of The Premier League?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Since its inaugural first term back in 1992, only seven teams have played in all fourteen seasons of the English premiership.  These teams are Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.  Out of the seven teams to have played in all fourteen seasons, the title has been won on thirteen occasions by one of these teams.  In fact since its creation only four different teams have ever won the premiership title, Man Utd (eight times), Arsenal (three times), Chelsea (twice) and Blackburn Rovers (once).  The teams to have played the fewest seasons in the premier league, with only one appearance to date are Watford, Swindon Town, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Barnsley and Wigan Athletic.  From the teams to have only managed a single season in the top flight of English football, Watford have faired the worst, managing six wins, six draws and being beaten twenty six times, amassing a point score of only twenty four points.
