    Cannabis are believed to be the most widely used drug in Britain; in a survey carried out it was reported the use of cannabis is high not only in adults but also among teenagers with about 23% of boys and 16% girls admitting that they had used cannabis in the last month or so.

    The use of cannabis is believed to go up with age and it has been seen that teenagers who experimented with cannabis were likely to be addicted in later life. Cannabis is used widely in the form of marijuana or dried flowers of the cannabis plant. Cannabis are used in the form of joints and smoked; a joint is made by rolling cannabis (marijuana) in to a cigarette.

    There are various issues related to the use of cannabis and in the UK cannabis proponents argue that the use of cannabis is actually safer as compared to the use of alcohol which has a progressively degenerating effect as compared to cannabis. However, long term use of cannabis affects the body in various ways physically as well as mentally.
